n Architecture Inc. was commissioned in 2016 to design a mixed-use commercial plaza on a 3.68-acre site in Brampton, Ontario. Strategically located at the prominent intersection of Goreway Drive and Mayfield Road, this development serves a growing urban community and is now fully operational.

The site features four thoughtfully designed buildings, including a one-storey Montessori school, a grocery store, retail units, and a two-storey mixed-use building containing retail and office space. A key aspect of the design was the sensitive integration of an existing heritage house, ensuring its preservation while enhancing the overall character of the development.

The massing strategy emphasizes the intersection by locating taller building forms at the corner, effectively framing the streetscape and creating a strong visual presence. The project successfully navigated the planning and approval process, securing all required permits and approvals from the authorities having jurisdiction.
